How GatherCalendar Works

GatherCalendar is a platform that allows communities to self-manage their calendars of events. Members can easily create accounts, submit events to their group calendar, subscribe to multiple group calendars, and discover happenings in their community. Here’s a quick overview of how it works:

For Group Members

  1. Create an Account: Sign up for a free GatherCalendar account. It takes just a couple of minutes to register with your email address.
  2. Find (or create) Your Group: Browse for groups related to your interests or create your own.
  3. Join a Group: Once you become a member of a group, you gain access to the group’s calendar of events. You’ll get updates when new events are added.
  4. Submit Events: You can submit events to your groups’ calendars. Just provide the details like date, time, location, description, and more.
  5. Add Events to Your Personal Calendar: Save events to your Google, iCalendar, or Outlook calendars.

For Group Moderators

  1. Manage Events: As a moderator, you will be able to monitor and review as well as edit events submitted by your group members.
  2. Manage your Group: Invite others to join your group as well as promote members to become moderators
