- Does everyone in the group need to sign up?
- No. Members keep posting in the chat as they do now. Nobody installs an app or makes an account, and the calendar is a web page anyone with the link can open.
- Which posts end up on the calendar?
- Posts that announce a gathering with a date or time. Replies, thanks, stickers, and questions stay in the chat. When a post is a flyer or a link, the details are read from the flyer or the page.
- Who can see the calendar?
- A calendar is public or private. A private calendar asks for a password, which the group shares with its members. See the privacy page for what is stored.
- Can I put an event on my own calendar?
- Yes. Every event page has an "Add to my calendar" button for Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar.
- What if an event is wrong or should come down?
- Send us a note with the calendar and the event, and we'll fix or remove it.
- How do we get started?
- Use the contact form. Tell us the group name, where the group posts, and if the calendar needs a password. You can look around the demo calendar first.
